Religious Freedom Day, January 16, declared in honor of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom created by Thomas Jefferson, has been proclaimed in Connecticut by Governor Ned Lamont, and followed up by Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling. See proclamations below. Both proclamations protect freedom of expression, not only for followers of any religion, but for the non-religious as well. Thank you Gov Lamont and Mayor Rilling!
