HFFC $s to Nourish Bridgeport honor Bridgeport Hospital

HFFC has been showing appreciation to frontline healthcare workers who have worked under such difficult circumstances in the ERs and ICUs during the COVID-19 pandemic. After sending bagels or other food to Norwalk, Danbury, Stamford & Greenwich Hospitals, we received additional donations so we could also thank Bridgeport Hospital. Bridgeport Hospital is no longer accepting food donations, since they are happy to report their COVID-19 caseload is dramatically down. They suggest that instead we could donate to a local food bank "in honor of the frontline healthcare workers at Bridgeport Hospital." What a nice idea! We sent a check today to Nourish Bridgeport.
