Nostrano's Delight

In Newtown’s outer heart, a gem does shine,

Nostrano's tables, a taste divine.

With olive oil’s kiss and basil’s grace,

Each dish transports you to an Italian embrace.

And the pre-fix lunch was no disgrace.

for the 39th time the Foodies group tried a different place

Okay, lousy attempt at a poem, but I can tell you that our 39th (Sheila keeps track) different luncheon was a huge success. 16 members had their fill of fun and chatter along with some good Italian food at Nostrano’s Italian Eatery in Newtown, CT. They even gave us our own little room which made it even cozier. By the way, the home made Chocolate Mousse was the right dessert to finish off the meal.
